Given that I had to do it for the release-team mailing list[¹] I’m going to link the more complete version of the cursor theme here too.
This is much more complete not yet perfect, but much better. I just noticed the watch has a small glitch when rotating, but it’s a minor thing (which I’m fixing right now). Here you can download the white version, the yellow version and the green version. Yes, this one is for you Sebas. =)

Don’t worry, I will make a proper release with a proper announcement with all the colors linked and all this stuff when it will be the right time… this is meant to be a 5 minutes post, already lost too much time on endless mail (and IRC) discussions in these days.

If you’re interested, Harald ‘apachelogger’ Sitter made a screencast showcasting the cursors in all of their beauty (unlike the pic showing a naked Zack :P).

And here is the original video, of a much greater quality, mp4 format (HE-AAC/H.264). Use youtube only if you really cannot play this, this is so much better.

¹ They seem to think that a cursor theme might break something, or they have other points which I still haven’t understood… but I don’t want to polemize… anyway, I seem to need to convince them to include the theme in 4.0.

Just to let you know I’m preparing a Christmas present… be sure to check planetkde in two days! =)
I had hoped for having the new krunner as present, but unfortunately I won’t make it for Christmas. I will try to finish it before the KDE 4.0 tagging though, I’m full of energies now, so I can probably make it, but won’t promise for now. Root for me!
Now I think I will just get back to mails, I’ve 1328 unread and 18 in the composer queue… whoa.
Btw, eros, email me if you read this!

Although I’m skeptical that all of the problems with the release candidate can be fixed in only one month, a rough first release seems a small price to pay for the significant long-term advantages offered by the transition.

Too bad KDE 4.0 won’t be released the 11th of december, would have been the perfect present for my birthday (which is the 11th infact). Well, I think I can live without it. :\

I’m off for a couple of days… I’ll be back on monday… as Josef knows I *need* a break, haven’t done one since June. Need to get energies back, I’ve no more of them since a while.

David, please prepare me the SVGs for krunner for monday, so we can stunn everyone when I’ll be back with some more coolness branded KDE!

Seb, let’s do a stable release of tripod with all the needed features (users: hints are welcome) and then begin to port to KDE 4, rock along and move forward!

Many guys who wrote me an e-mail and wait for an answer, I need to answer tons of mails, I’ve already got a pile of 20 drafts in my kmail… sorry, but I really had no time these days (been ill) and generally I have been fucking tired… will answer them as I get back, trying to be as quick as possible.

These includes some answer to some mailing lists (e.g. Plasma::Package stuff, sorry Paolo! Oxy meeting, sorry Nuno!, etc…). I fucking really need a secretary.

Many americans KDE contributors, see you in Mountain View, just booked the flight.

Sebas, be sure to coordinate with me so we can seat near in the flight from Amsterdam. =)

All the others readers, there’s somehting I want to show you and something I’m really excited about, hope to show you monday or the days just after. It all depends on several factors, including how much I will be able to break in this couple of days and regain new energies to spend.
